Community Outreach Programs
CareForHealth strives to organize numerous community outreach programs including as charity drives, elderly care, orphan support, group counseling, and support groups.
Panah Women’s Shelter
34 women with 34 heartbreaking stories. The CareForHealth team was deeply moved by the stories of resilience and strength echoing through the walls of Panah Shelter. This shelter offers a variety of support for women including medical assistance, vocational training, and emotional aid. Panah serves as a beacon of hope for those seeking refuge. We look forward to participating in similar campaigns in the future, spreading love and support to those in need.
Ramadan Ration Drive 2024
In the impoverished fishing community of Ibrahim Hyderi, many families struggle to make ends meet. Through Zakat donations, we strived to provide essential food supplies to those in need, ensuring they can observe the holy month with dignity and hope. We hope to work with others in this field to alleviate poverty and spread smiles throughout communities.
The AMI School
Inspired by Islamic Teachings, CareForHealth organized a heartwarming session at The AMI School, to instill the spirit of kindness, gratitude and giving. The students at The AMI School actively participated in the discussion while sharing their thoughts and embracing meaningful values. CareForHealth focused on creating engaging activities and valuable discussions for the students. We aim to conduct similar events in the future, highlighting the importance of nurturing young minds and bright ideas.
Kashif Iqbal Thalassemia Care Centre (KITCC)
In March 2024, CareForHealth conducted a charity drive at Kashif Iqbal Thalassemia Care Center in order to distribute food and care packages to patients and their families. Caregivers at KITCC witness the resilience of their children battling Thalassemia, enduring pain and uncertainty. During the blessed month of Ramadan, we focused on bringing light into patient’s lives. CareForHealth aims to aid families through this process by providing valuable resources and support.
Thatta Ration Drive
CareForHealth conducted another charity drive in a small village in Thatta, Interior Sindh. One of the root causes of mental health issues is poverty, poor hygiene and the absence of basic amenities. Each ration package proves a glimmer of hope, but it is critical to recognize that the invisible wounds of poverty run deep, leading to various mental health challenges. Our mental health and charity initiatives aim to provide the necessary resources and support for underprivileged communities.
Thalassemia Support Group (KITCC)
Our incredible psychologists, Ms. Alina and Ms. Yusra, led a support group for at KITCC for the caregivers of Thalassemia patients. Through group practices they were able to provide aid to the families of those who are fighting Thalassemia on a daily basis. Support groups like these allow families to express their concerns while obtaining new methods to best help their loved ones succeed.
